1998 American Marine Grand Banks 52 Europa

America Marine, builder of the Grand Banks trawler yachts and Eastbay fast cruisers, expands the line with the addition of the Grand Banks 52 Europa. The 52 Europa is built on the same proven semidisplacement hull as all the Grand banks. The Europa series offers covered aft and side decks, and an expansive main saloon which opens onto the aft deck. There is access to the flying bridge and second helm station from the pilothouse and the covered aft deck. The fiberglass swim platform is an integral part of the hull mold, and offers additional storage space. The 52 Europa offers an enclosed pilothouse with ample seating for the captain and guests. This area includes a slide away privacy bulkhead between the pilothouse and main saloon. A variety of layouts are available offering three to four staterooms. An optional layout places the master stateroom aft of the engine room providing ample privacy for the owners and guest accommodations. Standard equipment includes: air conditioning with reverse cycle heat, 20 kW generator, holding plate refrigerating in two boxes, washer and dryer, hand-crafted teak interior, ice maker, and teak decks. Cruising speeds from 9 to 15 knots are possible with a top speed of 18 knots depending upon the engine package. A variety of engine options are available.
