The first Chance 29 was commissioned in 1975 to participate in the Hal Ton Cup held in Michigan (USA) and there it gave excellent proof of itself. Over the years the sail plan and the excavation have been slightly revised while maintaining the element of lead and antimony as a building material. The hull has an armament at the head of the mast and is made of crossed mahogany lamellar while the deckhouse and deckhouse are made of marine plywood. The interiors are welcoming in their simplicity and despite being a boat born for regattas it lends itself to navigation and travel.
